Emily Ratajkowski was casually spotted walking her dog, Colombo, around New York City in a pair of sneakers likely from Reebok, which is a surprise after Oakley has been her sneaker brand of choice over the past few weeks. Crafted with a breathable upper and a rounded rubber outsole for breathable grip and traction, the Reebok X Catalyst Premier Road Modern sneakers were splashed in black/gray colorway, which included black laces as a complementary feature.
Known for her ability to elevate casual styles to the next level, the actress teamed her kicks with a grayish-beige mini halter dress, black sunglasses that were slightly oversized and a black bag. The form-fitting dress is similar to the charcoal jersey dress that Sarah Jessica Parker’s character Carrie Bradshaw wore in the Season Two, Episode 15, of “Sex and the City.”
Sneakers have become a go-to choice for Ratajkowski for casual outings in the city. The model was spotted last week in a pair of the Oakley Team Flesh sneakers, which have become popular for their Y2K appearance. Those sneakers, which were originally released during Oakley’s dive into performance footwear, were recently brought back by way of a collaboration with Los Angeles streetwear label Brain Dead, and are characterized by unique design and futuristic silhouette. That same week, she was seen in those exact same sneakers while taking Colombo on an early morning walk around the city.
While Oakley is one of her favorite brands, the model occasionally goes for other popular footwear namesakes. In June, she was photographed wearing Loewe’s Ballet Runners, which is a style she’s been seen wearing quite a bit since the launch of the shoe four years ago. Those sneakers were crafted from a combination of smooth leather and suede, and featured tonal logo accents on both sides. Finishing the set was a ridged sole and an elasticized heel.
In April, she stepped out in a casual pair of red Puma Speedcat LS sneakers while out and about that were constructed with suede material and a rubber outsole for durability and traction. The sneakers were doused in a bright red colorway completed by red laces and the signature white Puma stripe logo for the finishing touches.
