Emilia Clarke was all smiles Sunday night at the Season 6 premiere of HBO’s “Game of Thrones” in Los Angeles. The actress hit the red carpet wearing an Erdem dress and Christian Louboutin sandals.
Clarke — famously known as her silver-haired character Khaleesi — talked to Variety on what it’s like to play a strong female role. “I can be taken seriously as a part of that conversation because of the show, because of that character,” she said.
On the screen, Clarke’s character pays little attention to footwear as she is more focused on vying for the Iron Throne. But off-screen, Clarke often chooses Jimmy Choo, Roger Vivier, Louboutin, Manolo Blahnik and Giuseppe Zanotti.
Over the weekend, Clarke opted for a pair of Prada sandals at the 2016 MTV Movie Awards, held at Warner Bros. Studios. The shoes were spotted once again on the red carpet at the “Game of Thrones” premiere, but on actress Amanda Peet.
