Elle Fanning keeps hitting the looks out of the park. After a home run with Sarah Burton’s Givenchy look at the Vanity Fair Oscars after party earlier this year, the actress and her stylist Samantha McMillen are still going strong.
She attended the 2025 AFI Life Achievement Award ceremony in Hollywood. Francis Ford Coppolo was honored at the event. Fanning wore a custom fit-and-flare orange dress from Coach. Included metallic embellishments in addition to a bow at the bust line.
For footwear, Fanning wore a pair of Larroude Jasmine heels. The shoe is a mule silhouette. This means it is a slip-on style with an upper only composed of the front half. The Jasmine notably features an open-toe. Fanning’s were a slick, metallic specchio leather. They also have an almond-shaped toe.
The heel measures just about four inches. The company doesn’t appear to sell the heel in silver. There are other versions available for pre-order for about $230.
Larroude was founded in 2020 by namesake Marina Larroude, a former fashion director. In 2023, the company had racked up $30 million in sales and in 2024 the company won the Footwear News Achievement Awards Brand of the Year title — the company was set to double its year over year sales then. The likes of Kerry Washington, Blue Ivy Carter, Selena Gomez, Salma Hayek and Taylor Swift have all since become fans.
Christian Louboutin has a similar style in the Me Dolly. The upper is made up of a softer, less slick leather but the shoe mimics the same silhouette.
The Me Dolly heel was inspired by Dolly Parton. Parton is one of a number of celebrities who have served as muses for Louboutin-designed styles including Blake Lively and Kate Moss. Back in February, Mikey Madison wore a black version of the Me Dolly to the 2025 Film Independent Sprit Awards.
