Elle Fanning modeled a sophisticated twist on menswear at a London photocall for her upcoming film “A Complete Unknown,” wearing an ensemble from Bottega Veneta for the occasion.
Fanning was outfitted in Look 16 from the luxury brand’s pre-spring 2025 collection, which consists of a gray wool suit with a plaid cotton shirt beneath it. The double-breasted blazer had a loose, boxy fit while the creased trousers were a bit slouchy.
The blazer featured a notch lapel and two pocket flaps on the right side while one was on the left, creating an asymmetrical look. A bit more color was added to the ensemble through the red and off-white patterning on the cotton shirt. Fanning wore her blonde hair pulled back, emphasizing her business formal aesthetic.

Fanning’s look was completed by a pair of patent leather loafers, specifically Bottega Veneta‘s Madame style. The shoes feature a rounded toe and a low block heel, while gold-hued hardware on the glossy upper helped the shoes make a glamorous statement. From Ssense, a pair of black Madame loafers can be purchased for $1,250.
Fanning is currently promoting “A Complete Unknown,” in which she stars as Sylvie Russo alongside Timothée Chalamet as Bob Dylan. The period film sees the cast in 1960s-era clothing, and some of Fanning’s on-set shoes included flats, boots and slingback heels. Fanning is known to impress with her fashion off-camera as well. In addition to Bottega Veneta, she’s worn Stuart Weitzman boots, Jimmy Choo sandals and more striking styles lately. Discover her fashion through the years below.
