EJ Johnson arrived in a chic all-black ensemble to the Saint Laurent Spring 2025 show in Paris on Sept. 24, rocking a pair of thigh-high lace-up boots.
The media personality and son of Magic and Cookie Johnson is known to make an impression with his glamorous and androgynous style. For the fashion show on Tuesday, Johnson looked right at home in Paris in a black monochrome look consisting of a long sheer dress and black leather jacket. The dress featured a scalloped neckline and ruching along the bodice while the A-line skirt was tiered. Johnson accented the look with a small black purse featuring a unique pocket design.
For his footwear, Johnson donned a pair of black leather over-the-knee boots which brought additional dramatic flair to the ensemble. The shoes were laced from bottom to top through metallic eyelets, offering an edgy combat aesthetic to the look. The boot was pointed in front and lifted with a heel in back.

Johnson’s shoes resembled Gucci’s Harriet over-the-knee boot, which features reptile skin detailing and a stiletto heel. Sienna Miller stepped out in the bold shoes in 2023, pairing them with a beige wrap dress.
Johnson, who lends his voice to the animated series “The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder,” is known to step out in a versatile black boot. At last year’s Elizabeth Taylor Ball to End AIDS, where his parents were being honored, he wore black leather heeled boots with a white jumpsuit from Alaïa. At an NYFW event back in 2018 held in promotion for “Black Panther,” Johnson made a statement in black velvet boots.
Johnson has kept a low profile over the past year, making his appearance at Saint Laurent’s show one of the first he has done all year. Last week EJ was spotted grocery shopping in West Hollywood wearing a leather jacket, a striped shirt, light wash jeans and patent leather booties.
Earlier this year, his NBA legend dad wrote a sweet tribute for his son’s birthday. “Happy Birthday to my son, EJ! EJ is amazing and intelligent and has helped so many other people live life as their authentic selves, comfortable in their own skin,” the former basketball star wrote in June along a series of photos.
“Never forget I will always be here to support, guide, and love you because I’m your biggest fan!”
