Dua Lipa was spotted on Tuesday in New York City while wearing a pair of black leather knee-high boots from Jeffrey Campbell.
The “Love Again” singer has been spotted on several occasions wearing similar pairs of knee-high boots as she walks around major cities and is captured by street-style photographers. In fact, Lipa was spotted earlier this month walking around London in the same pair of Jeffrey Campbell boots.
Lipa is currently promoting her soon-to-be-released third studio album, “Radical Optimism,” available for download on May 3.
The Jeffrey Campbell boots, crafted from a smooth black Nappa leather, are adorned with an accent stitched upper, pointed-toe silhouette and knee-high length. Additionally, the boots have an estimated 3-inch block heel constructed with a unique inward-facing curvature.
A number of other celebrities have been seen donning the popular knee-high style while walking the red carpet and attending high-profile events. Recently, Julia Fox was seen wearing a pair of edgy black leather knee-high boots while leaving an awards show in March of this year in Los Angeles. The star’s sky-high footwear style was decorated with several black and silver adornments, one of which was a small shirt collar that rested directly above the boot’s top seam.
With designer brands including Burberry, Bottega Veneta and Sergio Rossi, among others, implementing the knee-high silhouette into their latest collections, the style has quickly risen in recent popularity. Using unique heel shapes of differing heights, styles and thicknesses, these designers are able to make each pair of boots align better with their own brand aesthetic and stand out to potential consumers.
