Fresh off putting on a show-stopping performance at the 97th Academy Awards on March 2, Doja Cat jet-setted off to France to sit front row at the Balmain Fall RTW 2025 fashion show wearing a pair Christian Louboutin’s latest creation.
At the Oscars, Doja performed a rendition of “Diamonds Are Forever” as part of a James Bond tribute. She was decked out in a dress made out of Swarovski crystals and stood on pair of Amina Muaddi’s new Gigi sandals, which are also lavishly covered in crystal embellishments. But she went for a much darker and edgier look for the Balmain show, which took place at the Grande Halle de la Villette as part of Paris Fashion Week on March 5.
The “Agora Hills” rapper wore a leopard print skirt suit with a matching jacket that she wore slightly off the shoulders. The ensemble was designed by Balmain’s creative director, Olivier Rousteing, and she paired the look with a gold necklace that wrapped around her neck and trickled down to her chest. The “Woman” singer’s skirt hit right at the knee and her defined calves were on full display as the elegant pump elongated her legs and brought attention to the rode tattoo she has on the back of her right leg.
For footwear, the Grammy winner stepped into Louboutin’s latest release: the highly talked about Miss Z. The shoe is Gen Z’s version of the celebrity-favorite So Kate, and it promises more comfort, a better fit, a bigger toe box, a padded sole (which the luxury brand never did before) and a more modern and sexier design that provides the same chic appearance of the So Kates.
There was some debate about whether or not Zendaya was an inspiration for the shoe but the brand held steady to the shoe being a tribute to their youngest crop of fans. So far, other stars have been spotted wearing the new pumps like Ciara and Jessica Alba, who wore them to the Vanity Fair Oscars After Party.
Doja previewed this look at the Oscars when she arrived on the red carpet wearing another leopard print ensemble from Balmain to the awards show. The designer’s new Fall 2025 collection features other animal prints throughout.
