Demi Moore has closed out her biggest award season. On Sunday, the lead of “The Substance” attended the Academy Awards. There, she was a strong contender in the Best Actress category. She and competitor Mikey Madison have been trading the win back and forth at each award show.
For the big night, Moore and stylist Brad Goreski went for splendor. She returned to Giorgio Armani Prive and wore a shimmering silver gown from the designer featuring all over embellishment. The sleeveless dress includes a sweetheart neckline and pleat detailing at the hips.
On foot, Moore chose Christian Louboutin‘s Mini Glitter Cathy. She wore a pair of open-toe platform heels from the brand. It is a d’Orsay cut, meaning that the upper is divided into a front and a back section. The middle is completely removed, revealing the foot. The front section includes a pointed, lowcut vamp while the back counter is also low-cut around the heel of the foot. For security, the heel includes an ankle strap that fastens with a buckle.
This all sits on a tall stiletto heel. The heel likely measures six inches, boosted by the platform. The shoes included a lacquered red sole. The soles are a signature of Christian Louboutin and have been since the launch of the brand in the early 1990s.
Moore has been knocking down a series of stand out shoes on the tour for “The Substance.” She did the festival circuit, the press circuit and the awards circuit for the past year, in look after look. Her shoes have been varied: she had an oxford inspired slingback from Thom Browne with a gilded gold heel. At the Critics’ Choice Awards she chose a pump from Schiaparelli featuring a crystalized ball in the heel. And then there was the Christian Louboutin Condora Riviera, a t-strap pump she’s been spotted in multiple times.
The Oscars 2025, officially known as the 97th Academy Awards, are set to take place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday. The ceremony will honor movies released in 2024. Conan O’Brien will host the event that will celebrate films like “Wicked,” “The Substance,” “The Brutalist, “A Complete Unknown,” “Emilia Perez” and more. Notable nominees for acting categories include Zoe Saldaña, Ariana Grande, Demi Moore, Colman Domingo and more.
