Debra Messing Steps Out in Eye-Catching Thom Solo Ruffle Pumps for ‘Watch What Happens Live’ to Promote ‘Alto Knights’
Debra Messing took a unique pair of Thom Solo pumps for a spin on Tuesday as she made her way to “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” in New York City.
The “Will and Grace” actress was dressed up in a shiny satin ensemble in a deep hue of purple. She wore a knee-length dress with a plunging neckline underneath a loose matching layer. Contrasting her ensemble with a different pop of color, Messing carried a red leather purse with gold accents from Qoffah, an item known as The Berries Bag which retails for $750.
Messing kept things interesting with her footwear. She showcased the Ruffle Pump from Thom Solo, an American women’s shoe designer known for outside-the-box creations. This particular style earns its name with a voluminous three dimensional structured ruffle detail that graduates in size from the vamp to the back of the shoe on the outward facing side, accenting the pump like a wing. The shoes are patent leather, drawing further attention with their glossy shine. The silhouette also includes a low-cut vamp, pointed toe and a slightly flared heel measuring four inches. Available in other colors like periwinkle and silver, the Ruffle Pump retails for $995.

Thom Solo’s bold designs have been worn by a myriad of other celebrities, including Lucy Liu, Lady Gaga, FKA Twigs, Sydney Sweeney and more stars.
Messing wore a more understated pair of black pumps to the USC Shoah Foundation’s Ambassadors for Humanity Gala in October. Also in attendance at the event was Meryl Streep, who wore a black d’Orsay pump with a triangular cut out at the vamp.
