Dave Grohl attended day two of Wimbledon Championships 2024 on July 2 in London sporting a much different look than he has been during the Foo Fighters’ current tour of Europe.
Clad in formalwear, the drummer sported a pair of suede brown New Florio loafers from Dolce & Gabbana alongside his wife, Jordyn Blum. The classic designer style included textural brown suede uppers, calfskin footbed, non-slip branded rubber soles, almond-shaped toes and silver metal logo hardware fixed just below the tongues. Unlike oxfords, loafers are a more casual option given their lack of laces.
Beyond Dolce & Gabbana, many affordable and high-end brands feature the popular silhouette including The Row, Aldo, Clarks, Coach, Dior, Steve Madden and Maison Margiela, among others. Although black is seemingly the most popular option, loafers have received major upgrades within the past few years, including a variety of colorful options like leopard and zebra. Loafers have also become a medium through which brands can accessorize, decorating the shoe with everything from studs and crystals to pearls and spikes.

In a similarly dressy fashion, the rocker wore a deep blue pinstripe suit in a tailored style. Grohl wore a crisp white button-down beneath his blazer accompanied by a yellow and blue diamond-printed tie. Finishing off his look, the drummer wore thick black sunglasses from Ray-Ban.
The 2024 Wimbledon Championships started on July 1 and will conclude on July 14. The event is one of the biggest tennis competitions of the year and will feature appearances from big names like David Beckham, Poppy Delevingne, Jessica Alba, Princess Olympia, James Blake and Pink Pantheress, among many others. Last year, Carlos Alcaraz took home his first Wimbledon title on the men’s side, while Marketa Vondrousova won on the women’s side, securing her first Grand Slam victory.
