Dakota Fanning was literally shimmering on the streets of New York City.
Fanning opted for a pair of shiny silver Aquazzura slingback sandals as she smiled and waved in the SoHo area on Monday, June 3. The So Nude Sandal 105 has an open-back with a strap over the toe box and another around the ankle. The slim, metallic heel measures approximately 4-inches. The bottoms are a neutral color with the designer’s signature golden pineapple along the bottoms.
The 30-year-old paired her stilettos with a comfortable looking white dress adorned with flowers in various shades of purple that came down to the middle of her calf. The outfit had a deep yet sophisticated neckline and showed off her shoulders. Fanning complimented her look with a white belt with a silver buckle as her straight blond hair looked sleek and shiny.

In the photos, Fanning is seen waving and smiling next to a large striped bag full of items as she’s escorted down the street. The night before, Fanning hit the red carpet for her latest film “The Watchers” in a long, satin emerald green gown. In the horror film, Fanning stars as Mina, an artist who gets stranded in an expansive, untouched forest. Taking place in western Ireland, Mina seeks shelter and unknowingly becomes trapped alongside three strangers who are watched and stalked by mysterious creatures nightly.
Fanning has been making the press circuit lately in an open-toe heel. For the film’s London premiere, she chose a cherry red pair. Fanning also went with a black pair in Las Vegas in April for Cinema Con and a similar metallic gold pair while at the Sunset Tower Hotel in Los Angeles for a Hollywood Reporter event.
The So Nude slingback sandals have a padded leather insole and a mirror leather effect. The Italian made shoe comes in a wide variety of up to 12 colors such as pink, black, gold and purple. Most colors, like Fanning’s, retail for $750, however, select colors are currently on sale for as low as $420.
