Daisy Edgar-Jones modeled a fresh-off-the-runway Gucci look at South by Southwest on Friday for the premiere of “On Slow Horses,” a romantic drama film also starring Jacob Elordi, Will Poulter, Diego Calva and Sasha Calle.
The “Twisters” actress dressed up in a lively ensemble first presented on Feb. 25 during Milan Fashion Week at the Italian luxury brand’s fall 2025 show, where the English actress was seated front row alongside Lee Jung-jae of “Squid Game.” Some of the other attendees of the Gucci show included Julia Garner and Yara Shahidi.
Now showcased in Austin rather than Milan, the outfit Edgar-Jones wore today included a lacy lime green halter top — what looked like the top of a bodysuit — with a plunging neckline and sheer diamond cut out at the stomach. A skinny belt accented this garment. Meanwhile, the ensemble also featured a shiny light green midi skirt with a column silhouette and a marbled design.
Edgar-Jones also wore the jewelry that accessorized the look on the runway, a chunky chain necklace with a large pendant. She seemed to have forwent the pastel purse which was carried by the model at the show, however.
Also a part of the runway-turned-premiere look was a pair of glossy black mule heels. With a distinctive silhouette, the backless shoes featured a pointed toe and a vamp with a triangular outline aligning with the toe. Additionally, a modest stiletto heel elevated the set.
A backless shoe can take many forms and remains an easy slip-on style for a range of occasions. Demi Moore recently wore mules from Schiaparelli to appear on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”, showcasing a black style with a gold-outlined keyhole cut out at the toe.
In addition to mules, Edgar-Jones’ footwear style encompasses a myriad of silhouette. Discover some of her best footwear moments of 2024 below.
