Cynthia Nixon bundled up to combat the cold weather on the New York City set of “And Just Like That” on Thursday.
The award-winning actress nailed a cozy-chic look as she stepped out in a long puffer coat in a rich shade of eggplant purple. Photos of her filming a scene reveal that underneath her coat she wore a colorful printed sweater layered atop a dark green turtleneck. On the bottom, she donned burgundy trousers with a slight flare that gave way to bronze velvet ankle boots.
Nixon slipped into a lustrous Dries Van Noten style featuring a crocodile-embossed design throughout. The boots are complete with a chunky block heel measuring approximately 3.25 inches high. They are currently available to shop on popular resale sites like TheRealReal, Poshmark, and Depop.
Belgian designer Dries Van Noten launched his eponymous brand in 1986. After announcing his retirement last year, the acclaimed designer presented his final collection for the brand at Paris Men’s Fashion Week in June. The fashion industry veteran sent glove-inspired boots in various materials and strappy sandals finished in shealing and velvet down the runway for spring/summer 2025.
With a career spanning four decades, Van Noten has picked up many awards over the years, including the WWD Honor for Designer of the Year in 2023 and the CFDA’s International Designer of the Year in 2008.
The third season of “And Just Like That” is set to release later this year. Nixon, Sarah Jessica Parker, and other stars of the “Sex and the City” sequel series are often seen on the show’s New York City set. They are typically dressed in glamorous ensembles grounded by powerful pumps, but sometimes they are caught in casual everyday outfits when they aren’t filming. For instance, Nixon was seen sporting comfortable clogs on set last July.
