Cynthia Erivo attended the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar Party hosted by Radhika Jones on March 2 wearing an ethereal tulle gown with black Hot Chick pumps from Christian Louboutin. The swanky soirée, which took place at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, welcomed a slew of other celebrity guests including Vanessa Hudgens, Mary J. Blige and Keke Palmer.
After showcasing a green velvet Louis Vuitton gown on the Oscars red carpet and performing on stage at the Dolby Theatre in a white Vivienne Westwood gown adorned with colorful flowers, Erivo continued to show off her sartorial taste. For the star-studded Vanity Fair party, she modeled a gauzy white Vivienne Westwood gown with delicate fabric creating an asymmetrical one-shoulder design flowing into a cross-body Roman-like look. The diaphanous skirt cascaded into a long dramatic train trailing behind her. Contributing eye-catching detailing, black bowties accented the dress.
Erivo went with a popular silhouette from Christian Louboutin to complement her Vivienne Westwood dress. The Hot Chick style stands out with a scalloped indentation along the upper, creating an easily identifiable outline for the shoe. The design otherwise includes a triangular toe, low-cut vamp and stiletto heel. The Hot Chick indent is applied to more styles than just the standard pump, including slingback pumps, peep-toe pumps, flats and platform pumps. Erivo appeared to be wearing a black velvet version of the Hot Chick pump.
Erivo and her “Wicked” co-star Ariana Grande brought audiences to tears with the touching medley of songs they sang to open the 97th Academy Awards yesterday. “Wicked” took home two Oscars: Paul Tazewell won for Best Costume Design and Nathan Crowley and Lee Sandales won for Best Production Design.
