Cynthia Erivo shined brightly in a full metallic silver monochrome moment at the 31st annual Screen Actors Guild Awards held tonight in Los Angeles. Erivo is nominated for “Female Actor In A Leading Role” for her work in the hit musical movie “Wicked.”
The “Harriet” star flattered her feet in a pair of custom Christian Louboutin Hot Chick metallic silver pumps. The dazzling footwear pick featured sparkling metallic uppers that looked almost like melted silver. Pointed toes gave way to leather soles and thin and lofty stiletto heels that raised Erivo to new heights. If silver isn’t your thing, Christian Louboutin‘s Hot Chick silhouette comes in a myriad of colorways and eye-catching finishes from patent leather to ruby red.
The British thespian paired her shining footwear with a vintage Givenchy fall 1997 gown, also in silver. The metallic gown was ultra-dramatic, fixed with bell sleeves, textural fringe and a billowing cape.
Erivo has always had a particularly head-turning sense of style both on and off the red carpet. Since starring role in the 2024 film “Wicked,” the British thespian has upped her footwear game, including platform styles galore paired with seemingly impossible stiletto heels. Shoes from Christian Louboutin, Schiaparelli, Thom Browne, Marc Jacobs and Jimmy Choo have all been a part of her footwear rotation as of late.
The 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards will take place tonight, Feb. 23, at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Kristen Bell will host the ceremony, which can be streamed live via Netflix with a subscription. Top stars set to attend include Pamela Anderson, Quinta Brunson, Timothée Chalamet, Colman Domingo, Cynthia Erivo, Ralph Fiennes, Harrison Ford, Lily Gladstone, Selena Gomez and Ariana Grande.
“Wicked” leads the charge with five nominations, going up against flicks like “Emilia Perez” with three and “A Complete Unknown” with four. During the ceremony, legendary actress Jane Fonda will receive the Lifetime Achievement award.
