Coco Jones got fancy in strappy gladiator sandals from Alevi Milano while attending the Macro Pre-Oscars Party at Laya Restaurant in Los Angeles on Thursday.
For the event, the “ICU” singer chose a pair of the brand’s Jacklyn 095 gloss sandals, which are currently out of stock, but have been known to retail for roughly $900. Made with patent leather, the shoes featured a series of slender black straps that extended past her calves, giving the silhouette an elegant knee-high appearance.
Doused in an all-black colorway that provided a popping contrast to her burgundy mini dress, the silhouette was completed by a closed-back design and a slim stiletto heel that measured between 4-to-5 inches in height.
As for her outfit, the “Bel-Air” star donned a burgundy mini dress, which itself was accentuated by hourglass straps and a daring low-cut design. Featuring a slight slit towards the midriff, the length of the dress stopped just above her knee, giving plenty of attention to toned legs and eye-catching sandals.Jones isn’t the only celebrity to have recently gotten in on the gladiator sandal trend. Singer Tyla was spotted in a rich chocolate brown knee-high pair from Le Silla while attending the Essence Black Women In Hollywood Awards in Los Angeles on Thursday night.
Wearing a pair of the brand’s Sahara shoes, the silhouette was crafted with patent leather material, featured a knee-high design that works especially well with mini dresses and skirts and a square-toe design that added to its glamour.
Also included in its construction was a square-toe upper, geometric straps adorned with gold-tone jewel buckles that locked the feet in place along with its closed-back construction and a 4.3 inch heel that completed the model.
Gladiator sandals have been trending since summer 2024, with tons of celebrities like Meagan Good, Sarah Jessica Parker and others wearing pairs of their own over the past year. Regarded for their timeless appeal, modern twists, style and functionality, they are made with an open-toe design and breathable materials to combat the heat during the summer, and feature vertical and diagonal lines within their design to elongate and slim the legs, which is why many regard them as a preferred choice.
