Ciara has become one of the first celebrities to step out in Christian Louboutin‘s new and much-talked-about Miss Z heel — and she’s proved that you can dance in it. While co-hosting Wednesday’s episode of “Today with Jenna & Friends” alongside Jenna Bush Hager, the singer proved that the luxury footwear designer may have achieved their goal in making the new shoe style more comfortable.

For her appearance on the show, Ciara arrived wearing a sophisticated gray pinstriped suit from Helsa that included straight-leg trousers and a double-breasted blazer; she wore a bright white collared button-down tucked into her pants. Her smart aesthetic was emphasized by a pair of black Bottega Veneta glasses and she also carried a black tote.

During her appearance on “Jenna & Friends,” she showed off her moves with dancer Jas Minnie. Ciara went to toe-to-toe with Minnie, both of whom pulled off a very difficult move in which they bent into low squats with their backs nearly parallel to the ground—which many now associate as Ciara’s signature “The Matrix” dance move, showing off their strength as they lingered and gradually rose up from the position. And Ciara did it all in Christian Louboutin’s Miss Z heels.

The Miss Z is a buzzy new style from the brand meant to create a more comfortable experience for the wearer. The shoes feature an expanded toe box, padded insole and an “everlasting red sole” that is designed to be more durable and anti-slip. Some wonder if the Miss Z is inspired by Zendaya, frequent So Kate wearer, with one Louboutin employee sharing that she did inspire it. A representative for Christian Louboutin told FN, however, “The Miss Z collection was designed and developed with Gen Z in mind as the Maison’s latest pump design, following our Pigalle and So Kate styles.”

The Miss Z is available in several heights and colors; the black patent leather version retails for $895.
