Christina Ricci has been in the entertainment business for a long time and her outfit on ‘The Tonight Show’ Wednesday was proof of that.

The actress, who sat down with host Jimmy Fallon to chat about Season Three of “Yellowjackets,” opted for a slinky, deep red minidress that she wore to an Audi event in 2009. On that occasion, she paired the clingy v-neck number boasting mesh long sleeves and side cutouts with shimmery platform pumps. The closed almond-toe style was embellished with four buckle straps.

The “Now and Then” star again reached for strappy platforms, but this time a pair with a glossy black patent leather finish. The style was set on a soaring stiletto heel that looked to be about 6 inches and a chunky platform that gave way to a sleek pointed toe. A crossover ankle strap featuring an adjustable buckle completed the look.

The black, sky-high platform pumps are similar to styles offered by luxury brands like Saint Laurent, Gianvito Rossi, and Christian Louboutin. Ricci teamed the towering stilettos with black sheer polka dot tights that added a playful touch to her ensemble. Tying things together effortlessly, she accessorized with gold and diamond-embellished hoop earrings and a gold necklace that hung to her decolletage.

Ricci, who is best known for her work in “The Adams Family, “Sleepy Hollow” and “Penelope,” was nominated for a Golden Globe for her role in the popular Showtime thriller series “Yellowjackets,” which comes back on Feb. 14. While she didn’t take home the Golden Globe, she did pick up the award for Best Supporting Actress at the 2024 Satellite Awards.

Since rising to fame in the early ’90s, the “Casper” star has stepped in and out of the spotlight. While the ’90s saw her step out in sequin-embellished looks and colorful sandals, she upped the glamour in the early aughts. The petite, 5-foot-1 actress has often shown a love for platform styles as they give her a bit of a height boost. Notably, she donned pointy black patent platform pumps with crisscross straps on the red carpet at the 2013 Met Gala. The style was not unlike the shoes she wore on “The Tonight Show.”
