Chrissy Teigen brought her distinctive style to the Palais des Festivals for the Cannes Lions Festival, pairing black high heels with a gingham dress on June 17.
Alongside her husband John Legend, Teigen was a guest on the podcast “On With Kara Swisher,” produced by the Vox Media Podcast Network; guests at the Debussy Theatre were present for a live taping of the episode. Per Cannes Lions, the discussion centered around the question, “How do you launch consumer-facing brands that build loyal audiences, drive action and foster connections?”
Taking the stage with Legend and Swisher, the cookbook author and entrepreneur wore a strapless fitted dress that fell past her knees. The garment featured a diagonal black and white gingham pattern that lent the outfit a vibrant visual dynamic.

Teigen chose to complement the gingham with a pair of sleek black pumps. The shoes boasted a sharp narrow heel standing at least three inches off the ground. In a popular variation of the traditional pump, the shoe included a thin buckled strap encircling the ankle. Teigen’s stylist Alana Van Deraa was behind the look.
Complementing his wife, Legend wore black slacks and a partially buttoned black collared shirt. Leaning into the black and white theme, Legend wore a pair of white horsebit loafers to complete his ensemble.
A noted fan of a pump, Teigen recently sported a pair of polka dotted black and white heels at JBL Fest in May. The month prior, she opted for a pair of high heeled sandals with only a thin strap around the ankle and across the toes. She’s also known to stay cozy in a pair of comfortable Uggs.
Teigen and Legend are both entrepreneurs, having founded the skincare brand Loved01, the cooking and food brand Cravings, and the dog food brand Kismet.
