Chloe Sevigny was all glitz and glam for the “Bonjour Tristesse” New York screening at IFC Center on May 1. The thespian was joined by her “Bonjour Tristesse” cast members.
The “American Psycho” star was screening-ready in a pair of slick black Jimmy Choo pumps. Currently retailing for $975, the Isa style features lush black calf leather uppers that transitioned into sharp triangular pointed toes and thick slingback straps that secured the style to Sevigny’s feet. Leather lining gave way to Jimmy Choo branding and non-slip rubber soles.
Finally, 3.7-inch tear-drop-shaped stiletto heels rounded out the set, creating both height and length. The Isa slingback features a unique architectural construction and sharp lines, imparting a futuristic feel. If plain black isn’t your thing, the Isa silhouette comes in a slew of colorways, prints and patterns. From dazzling sequins to red satin, the Jimmy Choo style is exceedingly versatile, lending itself well to many outfit choices.
The “Bones and All” actress paired her designer slingbacks with a pink satin babydoll dress. The dainty garment was made of a shiny satin pastel pink satin fabric that was embroidered with blooming floral motifs throughout. Tapered balloon sleeves gave way to frilly black trim that contrasted with the soft pinks in the look. The dress also included a sculptural mock neckline. Sevigny accessorized her ensemble with simplistic but dazzling silver jewelry.
“Bonjour Tristesse” is a romance drama directed by Durga Chew-Bose and released on May 2, 2025. The film follows 18-year-old Cécile is vacationing by the French seaside with her father.
