Olympic Gold Medalist snowboarder Chloe Kim was among the Gucci-clad guests at the Italian fashion house’s summer soiree at the celeb-favorite Chateau Marmot hotel in Los Angeles on Thursday. She embraced the current take on ’90s/’00s sporty trend, pairing towering white Gucci platform sandals with a boxy cropped jersey-inspired top and folded over dark denim wide-leg jeans.
Her designer shoes, which peaked out from her jeans, featured an approximately three-inch platform with a black stripe running through the middle.
She wore the sporty red, black and white Gucci top unzipped, embracing the exposed bra trend. Kim completed the look with feminine touches: a delicate silver body chain, a black patent leather Gucci chain-strap purse and pearl drop earrings.
The Team USA snowboarder posed with Gucci creative director Sabato De Sarno, along with fellow guests Chriselle Lim, Aimee Song and Jeanne Yang at the buzzy event.
The party took place alongside the famed hotel’s pool, which was decorated with a plethora of flowers inspired by the new Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid Perfume campaign. Miley Cyrus, who is the face of Gucci Flora perfumes, hosted the event and fittingly sung her Grammy-winning 2023 hit “Flowers.”
Kendall Jenner, Salma Hayek Pinault, David LaChapelle, Donovan Leitch, Finneas, Claudia Sulewski, Gia Coppola, Honor Titus, Justine Skye, Kaytranada, Kim Petras, Kitty Ca$h, Yves Tumor and Law Roach were also among the special guests at the exclusive party.
Last month, Kim was invited to Vogue World in Paris and paired her a silky, flowy blue dress with sparkly, strappy stiletto sandals. She wore a different pair of silver strappy sandals at the Gold Gala 2024 in May, once again embracing the metallic shoe trend.
