Cher attended the 2024 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony streaming on Disney+ at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse tonight in Cleveland, Ohio. The singer shared the stage with Dua Lipa to perform a duet of Cher’s hit song “Believe.”
The hallowed performer took the stage in what appeared to be platform heels, one of her favorite shoe silhouettes. Paired with coordinating leather chaps and black fishnet tights, Cher’s pick featured platform soles and shiny black patent leather uppers and almond-shaped toes.
The platform soles acted to elongate the “Burlesque” actress’ silhouette, allowing audiences a peek at her footwear. The chaps and platform combo was a grungy one, perfectly matching the vibe of the rock & roll-centric event.
Before she took the stage, the “Mask” star took the red carpet in what appeared to be black leather boots. The style was square-toed and crafted of glossy black patent leather. Like her stage shoes, Cher’s red carpet choice also included sky-high platform soles.
On stage, the “Strong Enough” songstress was outfitted in a glossy leather corsetted top layered over a black billowing top accompanied by a matching leather mini skirt. On the red carpet, Cher wore a look similar to that of her stage ensemble, comprised of custom leather pieces from Chrome Hearts. Cher partnered each look with striking silver jewelry, some fixed with cross motifs.
Cher’s shoe style is chameleonic, ranging from casual to glamorous. The “Believe” singer frequently wears black leather and suede boots in a range of heights and silhouettes, from ankle-length booties to over-the-knee platforms.
In the past, she’s also worn wedges and platform-soled pumps both on and off the red carpet. Cher has also dipped her toes into the world of fashion collaborations, starring in Balmain’s Blaze handbag campaign, Ugg’s spring 2022 campaign and launching a Pride Month capsule collection with Versace.
