Celine Dion is continuing her journey in Paris. The iconic Canadian singer fittingly wore a French brand the day before her stunning performance at the end of the 2024 Olympics Opening Ceremony, wearing a Dior set with white sneakers on July 25.
Although it was speculated Dion would perform at the Olympics, her performance of the famous French song “L’hymne à l’amour” beneath the Eiffel Tower still surprised and moved audiences in Paris and around the world. This marks her first performance since revealing her diagnosis with the neurological disorder known as Stiff Person Syndrome in 2022, after which fans weren’t sure she would take the stage again.
The day before her emotional return to the stage, Dion was out and about in the city known for its fashion. She wore a loose fitting set from Christian Dior, including billowy pants and a V-neck long sleeve shirt. Both top and bottom featured a beige and black pattern made up of the recognizable Dior logo; the side of the pants and shirt featured a blue stripe with “Christian Dior” written on it.

The “Because You Loved Me” singer and avowed shoe lover completed her French-inspired look with a pair of clean white sneakers. The shoes featured a chunky silhouette and sizable sole offering a boost in height and comfort. The classic lace-up shoes provided a neutral complement to her patterned ensemble. White sneakers are always a versatile footwear option — they can be worn with dresses, with pants, or any article of clothing in between, adding a casual or effortlessly chic flair to an outfit.
While Dion kept her footwear casual on Thursday, she showed her preference for Dior the day before in a pair of polka dot pumps from the luxury brand, which she paired with a black dress; the heels were made of a transparent mesh material (a growing trend right now.)
