Cardi B blames President Donald Trump‘s Secret Service detail for damaging her Christian Louboutin heels at Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans on Feb. 9.

The musician, who famously raps of “red bottoms” in her hit song “Bodak Yellow,” brought up the unfortunate incident in an Instagram Live video following Sunday’s big game.

“Yo, I was so f–kin’ mad today because, you know Donald Trump and sh-t, he was at the Super Bowl today. And they was giving us a hard time. Oh my gosh, the Secret Service was not playing in that motherf–ker,” she said. “The Secret Service was not playing to get in that motherf–king stadium. Oh my god. F–ked up my shoe.”

Cardi B endorsed Kamala Harris for the 2024 presidential election, even showing up to speak at a rally for the Democratic nominee in Wisconsin back in November. (She wore white Christian Louboutin pumps for the occasion.)

During the Instagram Live, she asked for someone in her midst to bring her shoe over so she could reveal the damage done. She looked to be holding the French brand’s Estepic Sandal Alta, which is a black peep-toe platform sandal with silver spikes.

The bottom of Cardi B’s shoe looked scuffed and the upper appeared to be missing some spikes. The rapper was also upset given the price tag attached to the luxury product — the style is marked at $3,295, which Cardi B rounded down to “three bands.”

She continued to expressed her grievance with fervor: “Looked how f–ked up my shoes — look at my shoe. Shoes cost me three bands. All ’cause of Trump. Now I like him lesser. Now I like him lesser. ‘Cause you ain’t have to come to no damn Super Bowl f–kin up my shoe.”

She also called on Trump to bring back her deported uncle. Trump is currently helming mass deportations of immigrants in the United States.

Cardi B recently posted photos of herself wearing the shoes in question. She paired the bold style with a metallic silver dress that read Mowalola LTD in red across the front. Unsurprisingly, the rapper often reaches for Louboutins — she wore an animal print version of the So Kate pump back in December when she attended the celebration of Kim Kardashian’s Skims store opening in New York City.
