‘Full House’ Star Candace Cameron Bure is Mad for Plaid in Betsey Johnson Booties in New York

Candace Cameron Bure was spotted arriving at Pix 11 show to promote the “Great American Family” channel today in New York. The actress is currently starring in a holiday film titled “Home Sweet Christmas.”
The “Full House” star opted for a pair of festive Christmas-inspired Idris booties hailing from Betsey Johnson. Retailing for $41.00 via Amazon and $60 via the brand’s website, the affordable footwear choice featured black textural synthetic microsuede uppers accompanied by pointed toes, synthetic sock liners and cloth plaid ankle accents that offered the silhouette a grungy edge.
Large pearl-adorned buckles imparted a dainty touch, true to Betsey Johnson’s design aesthetic of grunge meets girly. 1-inch platform soles gave way to lofty 4.25-inch block heels, giving Bure a substantial boost in height. Platform booties are a favorite of many stars, given the shoe creates the illusion of both length and height.

If plaid isn’t your thing, the brand’s Idris style also comes in a unique houndstooth with floral and a full-on monochrome leopard colorway. Betsey Johnson’s footwear is well-known for the head-turning mix of clashing prints and patterns. Campy and vibrant, Johnson has always found strength in going against the current.
Going matchy-matchy, the “Fuller House” star donned a bright red knit sweater in a slouchy style accompanied by a plaid miniskirt. Layered underneath sheer red tights, touching on those festive vibes.
The “Great American Family” is a family-friendly channel that features original movies and series, and is available on cable and streaming services including Frndly TV, Fubo TV, Philo, Hulu, DirecTV Stream and Sling TV. Bure stars in an upcoming holiday film titled “Home Sweet Christmas,” an original movie from the Great American Family. The movie also features Cameron Mathison. In the film, two childhood friends reunite after a family member passes away, leaving them in charge of their magical maple sugar farm.
