Camila Mendes Brings the Sheer Shoe Trend to the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival Red Carpet
Camila Mendes stepped out on the red carpet in a pair of the Amelia Mule sheer pointed-toe pumps from Britt Netta for the “Griffin In The Summer” premiere during the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival at SVA Theater in New York City on Thursday night.
Mendes’ shoes offered a sophisticated look thanks to their black sheer lace design. They also included sharp, angular, pointed-toe crafting that complemented their patent leather construction. Present on the toe box was a black bow. In line with how the actress typically likes to wear her footwear, the back of her shoes couldn’t be fully seen.
Mendes, however, has previously been known to wear pump styles with a thin stiletto heel that ranges between 3 and 4 inches, so it’s likely the heel height of the pair worn on Thursday is around that same measurement. The “Riverdale” star rounded out her look with a long black fitted maxi dress and red matte lipstick.

The pumps worn by Mendes on Thursday, were similar to the dark red pointed shoes she donned for the “Música” screening in New York City. Those pumps featured a gleaming model alongside a sharp, pointed-toe design that was finished by a stiletto heel measuring between 3 and 4 inches. That same month, Mendes was seen at SiriusXM wearing a pair of Mach & Mach Corset slingback pumps while giving an interview.
The shoes were crafted with patent leather material and featured a one-of-a-kind corset design alongside a 3.7-inch heel. Mendes is known for typically preferring pointed-toe shoes for red carpet appearances as that is the shoe she is spotted in the most for those occasions.
