Camila Cabello slipped into a black pointed-toe shoe for her visit to the SiriusXM Studio on Thursday in Los Angeles.
Pointed-toe heels, either boots or pumps, are trending. Zoe Saldana and Heidi Klum both wore black stiletto pumps on Thursday and so did Julia Fox with a boot version of the style.
As Cabello styled her shoes with Hodakova X Belt Chaps over them, it is unclear whether she was wearing a boot or a pump silhouette.
Cabello was on SiriusXM to promote her new single “I Luv IT” which is a duet with rapper Playboy Carti. The track is the lead single from her upcoming project “C, Xoxo.”
Though it is unclear what shoes Cabello wore exactly, the chaps accessory made the footwear appear as if they were boots. This trend has been popular on fashion week runways recently. At Paris Fashion Week in March, Sacai covered all of its stilettos in fabric, turning them into a newfangled “pant boot.”
Instead, Cabello opted for Hodakova’s “Vertical Belt Chaps,” which feature black leather belts configured to make an encasement of sorts for any shoe. The label sold the design for $1,800.
Launched in 2021 by Ellen Hodakova Larsson, Kodakova upcycles various materials and uses deadstock fabric to create one-of-a-kind pieces. The label is built on values of sustainability, incorporating existing garments into unique, contemporary designs. Larsson graduated from the Swedish School of Textiles.
