Camila Cabello was darkly sexy at a recent event this weekend. On Friday, the “C, XOXO” singer attended NYLON House down in Miami. The pop-up is an Art Basel specific activation that featured the rapper Ludacris. For it, Cabello chose a dress from Mugler featuring spaghetti straps, cutouts and sheer panels. The sheer bodice panels and cutouts have been a hallmark for Mugler under the tenure of Casey Caldwell.
Styeld by Katie Qian, Cabello chose black shoes to go with the look. In particular, she wore a pair of Gianvito Rossi sandals. The open toe shoes are the company’s Intriigo Strap. While in images they appear as if they are the original Intriigo, which is a mule, the company does not appear to make the Intriigo in satin. Instead, the Intriigo Strap is available in satin.
The silhouette features a pointed toe bed. In addition it features one strap across the foot. The lionshare of the rest of the foot is exposed. On the back, the shoe includes an ankle strap that fastens with a buckle. This all sits on a heel of just over four inches.
FarFetch sells the sandal for $725.
Cabello has a penchant for eye-catching shoe styles. This has included dressing up shoes with belt details as she did for a SiriusXM visit. It also spans glossy Timberland stilettos and embellished platforms, the latter of which she wore to host Bacardi’s Halloween celebration. The Cuban-born creative has even tried her own hand at shoe design.
Last month, Cabello unveiled a collaboration with the Japanese brand Grounds. Those chunky sneakers featured the company’s signature bubble soles made of rubber. They were a limited edition version of the ocmpany’s Moopie silhouette. They are $460 and available for pre-order through December 27.
