Brooks Nader was spotted in a comfy Y2K-inspired ensemble while in Los Angeles yesterday hanging out with her friends.
While her friends were dressed up wearing heels and dresses, the model went cozy for her night off in a pair of Hermès Chypre sandals. Retailing for $1,327, the slides included plush ecru shearling insole and lining that cradle the wearer’s feet accompanied by non-slip rubber soles, silver hardware and textural adjustable suede straps in a tan hue. The shearling and suede detailing transition the summer-centric style into fall while the slip-on backless nature of the slide offers a casual vibe.
The Chypre sandal is a staple of the Hermès brand, so much so that the silhouette has a myriad of colorful iterations. From suede to leather, leopard or two-toned, the silhouette exudes style no matter the composition. While slides are mostly saved for the warmer months of the year, the silhouette can be styled to promote warmth and comfort during the colder months.

Although polarizing, many celebrities style slides with socks, fortifying the shoe to withstand the chill. Beyond Nader, Hilary Duff has also been spotted in the designer slides. Released back in 2020, the Chypre sandal has become a favorite among collectors and celebrities alike.
Bringing back the 2000s in a major way, the Sports Illustrated cover star donned a deep blue Juicy Couture velour tracksuit, paying homage to Y2K legends like Paris Hilton. Accompanied by a white cropped tee with a lettuce hem, the tracksuit included a cropped zip-up hoodie and low-rise sweats with a drawstring closure. Keeping it simple, Nader wore silver hoops, bringing those Y2K vibes full circle.
Nader is a fashion darling, but it wasn’t always that way. The 27-year-old became a model for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue after winning the 2019 Swim Search. Following her win, Nader was featured in the magazine in 2020, 2021, and 2022. In 2023, Nader became a cover girl for the magazine.
