Blake Lively brought her never-ending love for Christian Louboutin to the red carpet at the premiere of her new film “Another Simple Favor” at SXSW Conference & Festivals on March 7 in Austin. The actress attended the premiere alongside her co-stars Michele Morrone and Anna Kendrick.
The “It Ends With Us” star flattered her feet in a pair of peep-toe Christian Louboutin Pluminette heels hailing from the brand’s spring 2012 collection. The chosen silhouette features a textural fishnet overlay in black throughout, accompanied by almond-shaped peep-toes and thin ankle straps secured in place with adjustable buckle closures. Fur and feather accents can be seen throughout the style, offering the silhouette a playful touch.
A 4.5-inch stiletto heel brought Lively a substantial boost, offering her the illusion of both length and height. As always, bright red leather souls finished out the set, making the heels instantly recognizable. The Pluminette shoe was crafted to commemorate the designer’s 20th anniversary. The heel can be shopped via second-hand websites like The Real Real, Poshmark, ModeSens and Depop, just to name a few.
The “If” actress accompanied her peep-toe pumps with a custom pink and black latex dress from Renee Masoomian. The garment was crafted of high-shine latex and featured black lace adornments and coordinating lace trim.
Lively has been a longtime fixture in the fashion scene and enjoys close friendships with designers like Christian Louboutin. During the press run for her previous film “It Ends With Us,” she wore various pairs of red bottoms from the designer, including a pair of Emilie sandals and Sova Broda sandals.
The “A Simple Favor” actress previously served as the face of L’Oreal and Gucci’s Gucci Premiere perfume, as well as Chanel’s Mademoiselle handbag line, in the early 2010s. She’s also a front-row regular during Fashion Month, appearing at shows for brands like Michael Kors, Gucci and Dior, among others.
