Blake Lively, alongside co-star Anna Kendrick, attended a photocall in London on Tuesday for the upcoming film “Another Simple Favor,” and a pair of Chanel boots played a major role in her outfit for the promotional engagement.
While she was in England for the event, Lively was dressed in French luxury wear, showcasing several Chanel pieces. Modeling the brand’s preppy aesthetic, she wore a heavy wool cardigan which was black with butter yellow trim; this looked to be paired with a black leather miniskirt or dress. She heavily accessorized with an assortment of rings, multiple bracelets, a square watch and several earrings. A miniature black quilted Chanel purse shaped like a camera also accented her look.
A pair of black leather boots from Chanel completed Lively’s ensemble — not the thigh-high stiletto Chanel boots worn by Anne Hathaway in “The Devil Wears Prada,” but a knee-high pair. The shoes featured an almond toe and slight platform in addition to a thick tapered heel offering several additional inches to the actress. The shaft was close-fitting and a subtle linear indentation on the upper created Chanel’s cap toe aesthetic. This particular style looks to be one that can be found from secondhand websites.
Lively posed alongside castmates Henry Golding and Anna Kendrick, the latter of whom wore a pair of metallic gold heels from Christian Louboutin, a luxury brand Lively is devoted to.
“Another Simple Favor” is the sequel to “A Simple Favor” directed by Paul Feig, a black comedy/mystery in which Kendrick’s character investigates the disappearance of her friend, played by Lively. The film is slated to be released on Prime Video on May 1.
