Billie Eilish attended the 35th Annual Palm Springs International Film Awards alongside her brother, Finneas, on Thursday in Palm Springs, Calif. The brother-sister duo received the Chairman’s Award for their song “What Was I Made For?,” which was produced for the popular 2023 “Barbie” movie.
For the award ceremony, the hitmaker donned a pair of black leather loafers in a chunky slip-on style accompanied by ankle-length white socks. The “Lovely” songstress’ footwear was crafted of high-shine black leather uppers that transitioned into rounded almond-shaped toes adorned with shiny silver horsebit detailing, offering the silhouette a preppy and vaguely formal appearance.
Thick black rubber soles and short stacked block heels rounded out the neutral set, offering the footwear a platform-esque effect. Unlike oxford or dress shoe styles, loafers are less dressy thanks in part to their laceless composition. The style is beloved by many celebrities, Eilish included.
Along with her loafers, the performer was outfitted in a black puffy hoodie from Purgatory with heart-embossed detailing layered overtop a white button-down. On the bottom, Eilish wore pleated black trousers in a baggy style. Rounding out her look, the “Bad Guy” singer wore a multicolored monogrammed Gucci bandana, green framed glasses with yellow lenses, a sleek black tie and high-shine silver jewelry. Additionally, the star toted a black vinyl backpack featuring the Playboy bunny logo on the large front-facing pocket.
For footwear, Eilish usually opts for sneakers. She is set to release another collaboration with Nike. During previous red carpet events, the star could be seen in platform sandals and pumps from brands like Gucci. However, her go-to styles are often sneakers hailing from Converse, Nike, Burberry and Balenciaga. The star occasionally wears tall boots that coordinate with her outfits as well, usually by Moon Boot, Dr. Martens and Swear London.
