Variety‘s annual Hitmakers Brunch — which celebrates the top songs of the year — brought a wave of stylish stars to the red carpet in Los Angeles. Among the Gen Z set, that included especially on-trend shoes, paired with aesthetic-driven outfits for a head-to-toe style statement.
Sabrina Carpenter hit the red carpet at Nya West for the occasion, where she was given the Rising Artist Award. For the occasion, the “Emails I Can’t Send” musician slipped on a pair of black satin platform sandals. Carpenter’s height-boosting set was paired with a silky black halter maxi dress from H&M Studio’s holiday collection (out Dec. 7), creating a streamlined look that earned a luxe finish from gleaming gold jewelry and a red manicure.
Olivia Rodrigo — recipient of the event’s Storyteller of the Year Award — blossomed for the occasion in a pair of glossy black Mary Janes. The platform-soled style added a ’90s flair to her black Carolina Herrera minidress, which was covered in a print of pale purple flowers and green leaves. Stylists Chloe and Chenelle Delgadillo completed the “Guts” musician’s look with small hoop earrings and layered silver rings for a gleaming edge.
Billie Eilish vibrantly arrived to the Hitmakers Brunch in a colorful outfit to receive the Film Song of the Year award alongside her brother, Finneas. The “Happier Than Ever” musician’s look featured black leather high-top sneakers with deep orange soles, paired with boxy denim jeans and a silky blue Los Angeles Dodgers bomber jacket. For a vibrant flair, Eilish finished her look with a multicolored beanie and glitter-framed sunglasses.
The Variety Hitmakers Brunch celebrates the top musical artists and songs of the year. This year’s event, sponsored by Sony Audio, H&M and CNB, featured winners including SZA, Metro Boomin, Billie Eilish, Sabrina Carpenter and Victoria Monet, among others.
