Earlier this month, the supermodel was photographed outside of the “Drew Barrymore show” in a pair of Ferragamo’s Curved 85mm leather mules. The shoes were made of nappa leather material, and featured an outer composition made out of 100% lambskin, an asymmetric design, a curve-edge body, a branded footbed, a square open toe, a 3.3-inch stiletto heel and a logo at the sole.
Prada, Ferragamo and Gucci are just a few of the designer brands Hadid prefers and has been spotted in for her events, shows and appearances.
About the shoes
Hadid stepped out in Cannes wearing a pair of yellow Chanel Logo Bow kitten heel pointed pumps that were cut in patent leather. The shoes were constructed in an angular pointed design and adorned with a small matching yellow bow on the toe box. The silhouette was rounded out by a slim stiletto heel of about 2 to 2.5 inches, classifying the shoe as a kitten heel due to their height.
About kitten heels
Kitten heels are regarded as a preferred shoe for events and occasions, coming in a variety of open and closed-toe designs. In order for shoes to be deemed kitten heels, they must have a short tapered heel ranging between 1 and 2.5 inches. While the style has always been trendy, kitten heels were especially popular between the 1940s and 1960s, being deemed as an elegant footwear choice for women who worked for a wide range of occasions. Many designers, including Chanel and Gucci, offer kitten heel models regularly as a part of their vast product offerings.
