Ayo Edebiri appeared on an episode of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” which aired on June 13 on NBC. The episode also featured appearances from Talking Heads and The Linda Lindas. Edebiri spoke to Fallon about season three of “The Bear” and voicing Envy for the film “Inside Out 2.”
For the interview, the “Bottoms” star wore a pair of black Manolo Blahnik slingback pumps. The jet-black Carolyne 90 style featured shiny uppers, accompanied by sharp triangular toes, thin slingback straps that fastened around her heels and 2 to 3-inch stiletto heels. Accompanied by sheer black tights, Edebiri’s footwear offered her ensemble a chic and sophisticated touch, coordinating with the overall color scheme of her look.
Manolo Blahnik features a variety of unique slingback styles. Some are fitted with bows or buckle detailing, while others are stripped down in neutral or pastel hues. Whatever the style, Manolo Blahnik heels are a cult classic, making its way into mainstream media through shows like “Sex and the City” and films like Sofia Coppola’s “Marie Antoinette” and the “Twilight” saga.

In addition to her all-black footwear, the actress wore a Marc Jacobs mini dress, also in black. The style was reminiscent of retro styles, complete with an exaggerated bodice and a flared skirt. Rounding out her ensemble, Edebiri wore her hair back and up and sported high-shine studs.
“Inside Out 2,” which hits theaters on Friday, is about a young hockey player named Riley who tries her best to navigate life with all of the emotions in her brain. Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust have been running a successful operation in Riley’s head, but when a new emotion Anxiety shows up, they aren’t sure how to feel. The film enlists the talents of actors like Maya Hawke, Tony Hale, Amy Poehler, Lewis Black and Phyllis Smith, among others.
