How could one not be filled with “envy” over Ayo Edebiri’s latest look?
The “Inside Out 2” star, who plays Envy in the latest Disney Pixar installment that celebrates all emotions, wore Bottega Veneta‘s Cha Cha mules Monday event at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood. The Italian black leather pair of open toe shoes shined when she hit the purple carpet. The glossy looking, slip-on shoes had a chunky, sculptural block heel measuring approximately 4-inches and a thick strap going across the toes. The shoes also come in white and retail for $950.
Edebiri chose a matching three piece blue toned colored outfit by the same high-end designer from their pre-fall 2024 lookbook for the evening. The loose fitting, trouser shorts hit right below the actress’ knees. She paired them with a collared button down blouse and a loose fitting blazer all in the same color to complete the look with her hair styled loosely with volume.
After “The Bear” star took photos alone, she joined her co-stars such as Amy Poehler, Maya Hawke, Yvette Nicole Brown and Tony Hale for a group photo. She also posed alongside some of the film’s characters in a cut-out form.

Earlier this year, the 28-year-old posed on the cover for The Sunday Times Style in a pair of By Far Trish mules. She also went with an open back black shoe for another set of photos with the outlet, posing in Louis Vuitton and a pair of Birkenstock Tokio Super Grip Leather Mules in white on season one of her FX show.
The animated film, which hits theaters this Friday, is about a young hockey player named Riley who tries her best to navigate life with all of the emotions in her brain. Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust have been running a successful operation in Riley’s head, but when new emotion Anxiety shows up, they aren’t sure how to feel.
