Ayo Edebiri Pops Into Classic Black Gianvito Rossi Pumps at ‘SNL 50: The Homecoming Concert’ in New York

Ayo Edebiri attended “SNL 50: The Homecoming Concert” held at Radio City Music Hall yesterday in New York. Beyond Edebiri, notable attendees included Jenna Ortega, Miley Cyrus, Pete Davidson, Bowen Yang, Tom Hanks, Tina Fey, Chris Pine, Snoop Dogg and Gayle King, among others.
The “Bottoms” actress took to the blue carpet in a pair of Gianvito Rossi Gianvito pumps. The classic black leather choice included glossy black leather uppers and sharp pointed toes. Arched leather soles gave way to stiletto heels standing at around 3 to 4 inches, giving Edebiri the illusion of length and height. The brand’s signature style comes in a range of colorways and heel heights for everyone.
Black pumps are a favorite of many celebrities, Edebiri included. Patent leather or suede, sharp or subtle, black pumps have recently been sported by the likes of Tiffany Haddish, La La Anthony, Hailey Bieber, Kate Middleton, Laverne Cox, Ciara and Tyra Banks, among others.

The “Abbott Elementary” star partnered her simple black pumps with a minidress hailing from JW Anderson‘s spring 2025 collection. The chosen garment was a burgundy hue and featured a high neckline and was sleeveless.
Buttons printed on the front created a campy appearance. Partnered with sheer black tights, the look was instantly made preppy. Gold jewelry rounded out her look, offering a touch of shine. Edebiri’s looks often mix campy colorful elements with preppy and androgynous silhouettes often hailing from brands like Loewe.
“SNL 50: The Homecoming Concert” was a concert held at the historic Radio City Music Hall on Feb. 14, 2025, in New York. The event, hosted by Jimmy Fallon, celebrated the 50th anniversary of “SNL” and its legacy of musical performances.
