Ayesha Curry shared a carousel of photos on her Instagram yesterday, celebrating the appearance of the Blue Super Moon, which happened on Wednesday. The phenomenon name is reserved for when a moon is closest to Earth.
Wearing a transitional look, the cookbook author stepped into a dramatic pair of Gucci equestrian thigh-high boots. Curry’s footwear was crafted out of glossy black patent leather with square steel capped toes and edgy silver buckle detailing. The boots traveled the length of her legs and sat atop 2 to 3-inch block heels that elevated the star’s look. Curry’s boots offered her ensemble a daring twist that riffed off the grungier elements present in her look.
Thigh-high boots are beloved by many celebrities, Curry included. As we transition into fall, boots of all kinds are beginning to crop up in wardrobes everywhere. From ankle-length to thigh-high, the silhouette is extremely versatile and can be paired alongside everything from denim to dresses.

The television personality donned a cropped Harley Davidson graphic t-shirt cast in shades of white, bright orange and black. The top was accompanied by a silver high-waisted slip-skirt crafted of a high-shine fabric. The skirt featured a lengthy side slip that stopped at the hip.
Rounding out her look, Curry donned a variety of silver jewelry worn with coordinating body jewelry that appeared to be comprised of strung-up gemstones.
Curry’s dark lengthy tresses were parted down the middle and styled in voluminous face-framing waves. Offering her look a pop of color, the star sported a wash of blue eyeshadow on her lids.
Curry’s shoe wardrobe often veers towards the sleek, including pointed-toe pumps and heeled thigh-high boots in neutral tones. Off-duty, she’s also been spotted in low-top and chunky sneakers from casual brands, including Vans and Asics. Her red carpet ensembles typically feature stiletto-heeled pumps and strappy sandals embellished with accents like allover crystals and eyelets, hailing from labels including Miu Miu.
