Avril Lavigne Styles Tweed and Ostrich Feather Dress With Glossy Pumps at Tamara Ralph Show During Paris Fashion Week
Things aren’t “Complicated” when it comes to Avril Lavigne‘s wardrobe. The singer-songwriter paired sleek pumps with a unique tweed dress to attend the Tamara Ralph haute couture show during Paris Fashion Week on June 24.
Lavigne’s outfit was a couture look from the Paris-based brand’s 2023-2024 autumn/winter collection. She was wearing look number 5, which featured a black and white tweed pattern adorned with crystals. The garment featured a high neck line and long sleeves that obscured her hands. Ostrich feathers were affixed around the outfit, including the waist, the bottom of the skirt and the ends of the sleeves.
When the ensemble was originally walked down the runway, it was paired with a black felt cage hat, like many other pieces from that collection. Sitting by Lavigne, fellow musician Ellie Goulding wore that accessory with look 1 from the collection, a velvet dress with a pearl and crystal adorned cage skirt.
Matching the black fabric of her dress, Lavigne’s shoes were made of a glossy satin-like material. They rounded to a sharp point in the front and provided a shiny texture to complement the tweed outfit. The shoes closed around the back and included a heel.

Lavigne is of course well known for her punk rock aesthetic, which she originally championed during the early 2000s. She’s kept the trend going in her recent public appearances, wearing black lace-up leather boots to the iHeartRadio Music Awards. She also wore a pair of classic Dr. Marten boots at the 2024 Academy of Country Music Awards. During her time in Paris, she slipped into a similar pair of shoes for the Iris Van Herpen haute couture show, which also took place on June 24.
