Avril Lavigne had a punk rock reunion at New York Fashion Week, thanks to Dion Lee.
During Lee’s spring 2024 fashion show, Lavigne was seated beside longtime musical associate Hayley Williams — also known as the frontwoman for rock band Paramore. For the occasion, Lavigne arrived in a set of sleek knee-high boots with triangular pointed toes, fully crafted from smooth black leather.
The “Love Sucks” musician’s heeled set added a dynamic finish to her outfit for the occasion: a graphic oversized Ozzy Osbourne T-shirt, layered beneath a paneled black leather trench coat. Lavigne opted to finish her outfit with a gray and black snakeskin-textured Brandon Blackwood handbag, as well as a silver metal mixed-chain necklace and a thin chain strung with a large cross pendant.
The moment marked her latest front-row moment during Fashion Week, which has included appearances at Christian Siriano’s show and Victoria’s Secret’s “The Tour” event.
At the brand’s afterparty at the Boom Boom Room later that night, Lavigne made a second dynamic entrance in her all-black attire as well — though on this occasion, she complemented the dark outfit with exaggerated round sunglasses accented with pointed spikes.
NYFW is held in New York City in September, marking the start of Fashion Month. The spring 2024 season will see a calendar of fashion shows and presentations from a range of designers, including Ralph Lauren, Christian Siriano, Proenza Schouler and more. The occasion will also include numerous parties and activations from brands like Aldo, J.Crew, MCM and more.
