Auli’i Cravalho and Dwayne Johnson channeled the coastal energy of their Disney characters with complementary shades of aquamarine at the U.K. premiere of “Moana 2,” which was held in London on Nov. 24.
Cravalho wore an Oscar de la Renta evening gown with floral appliqués to celebrate the highly-anticipated sequel to the 2016 animated blockbuster “Moana.” The light blue dress featured a fitted bodice and transitioned into a flowing skirt with layers of light fabric creating a semi-sheer look. Above the bust was a sheer top section with a high neck. From this portion down to the skirt, the dress was embellished with cascading leafy green vines punctuated every so often with gradient pink hibiscus flowers. The dress is currently on sale from Saks Fifth Avenue for $4,495, marked down from $8,990.
Meanwhile, Johnson wore a zip-up, collared jacket from Amiri featuring embroidered blue palm trees against a black backdrop. He paired this item with black straight-leg pants and black lace-up dress shoes. Johnson and his family previously attended the world premiere of “Moana 2” in Kapolei, Hawaii, where he wore Christian Louboutin loafers.

Keeping with the light color palette established by her dress, Cravalho appeared to be wearing a pair of Christian Louboutin’s white Movida Jane platform sandals. The shoes feature a strap across the toes and two toward the back, one wrapping across the top of the foot and the other around the back of the ankle. The sole and inside of the curved block were colored red, bringing Louboutin’s signature feature to the look. They can be purchased from Net-a-Porter for $1,095.
Additional stars to model Christian Louboutin shoes lately include Yara Shahidi, Kacey Musgraves and Zendaya, among others.
