Ashley Graham Reaches For Classic Black Pumps at Baby2Baby Gala 2024 in Los Angeles

Ashley Graham modeled classic wardrobe staples on the green carpet of the 2024 Baby2Baby Gala held yesterday in Los Angeles.
Reaching for a versatile style, the model donned a pair of black pumps. Endlessly versatile and sleek, Graham’s pair featured glossy black leather uppers accompanied by sharp triangular toes in a knife-like fashion. Arched soles gave way to 2 to 3-inch stiletto heels that acted to elongate the runway regular’s silhouette. Pumps like Graham’s have been around for decades.
The silhouette has been worked and re-worked over the years, updated and modernized for the new generation of fashionistas. Prada, Gucci, Aldo, Steve Madden, Saint Laurent and Jimmy Choo are just a handful of brands that feature black pumps under their shoe category. Graham also wore a little black dress with a colorful twist. The garment included long bell sleeves and a form-fit, accompanied by an asymmetric neckline trimmed with red wavy textured fabric. The sculptural addition revamped the otherwise basic silhouette. Silver jewelry finished off Graham’s look. The Sports Illustrated alumni is well known for her head-turning looks both on and off the red carpet.

Graham’s footwear wardrobe ranges from sporty to slick. For formal occasions, the model often wears strappy sandals or pointed pumps in colorful tones and metallics from luxury brands including Christian Louboutin, Bottega Veneta and Gianvito Rossi.
