Ashanti has a new project. The multi-hyphenate stars in Robert Craig’s new film “No Address,” which had its Los Angeles premiere on Tuesday. On the red carpet, the R&B singer turned up the glam. For hair and makeup, that meant perfectly curled locks by Dhairius Thomas, while makeup artist Erica LaPearl treated her visage to a sun-kissed, blush-tinted look.
Styled by Tim B, Ashanti wore a hooded dress from Fjolla Haxhismajli with a sweetheart neckline and embellished bust. Named the “Crimson Eclipse” dress, the long sleeved number featured a thigh-high front slit which allowed fans to see her shoes.
For footwear, Ashanti returned to a style she has worn before: the Tom Ford Lock stiletto. The sandal is an open-toe style. It includes an almond-shaped toe bed. It also includes a singular strap over the toes and then another slingback like strap behind the heel of the foot. From that comes the ankle strap. The most distinguishing detail of the shoe is the gold padlock that hangs off the ankle of the style.
The sandal also includes the Tom Ford signature gold stiletto heel. It measures just over four inches. Ashanti chose the gold version of the made in Italy design. Tom Ford counts the style as one of its best sellers and has it available for $1,350.
Ashanti enjoys Tom Ford heels, having worn them over the years. In fact, in April 2022, she wore the black version of the Tom Ford padlock sandal for a performance at Musikfest. She also reached for Tom Ford throughout 2023. In fact, she ended 2024 in a pair of gold-covered t-strap sandals from Tom Ford at her husband’s Black and White Ball. They were from the company’s Titan line.
Ashanti is obviously not the only fan of Tom Ford footwear. Keke Palmer has been wearing her fair share of heels from the brand. Most recently she wore the company’s Newton sandal to the “SNL 50: The Anniversary Special” event.
