Ariana Grande sat down for an interview on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Thursday in New York. The star talked all things “Wicked” and her latest album “Eternal Sunshine.” The “God Is A Woman” songstress also teased a new music video featuring a cameo from “You” actor Penn Badgley. Later on in the show, Grande performed her new song, “The Boy Is Mine.”
During her interview segment, Grande donned bright white pumps from Jimmy Choo. The singer’s Ixia 95 style features sleek leather white uppers that transition into striking triangular toes and uniquely shaped 2—to 3-inch stiletto heels with rounded bottoms.
Like black pumps, white pumps can act as a neutral when paired with the right pieces. The striking footwear is bolder than its black counterpart and can act as a statement piece when styled correctly. Many affordable and high-end brands feature a variety of white pumps in their repertoire including Aldo, Ferragamo, The Row, Steve Madden and Jimmy Choo, among others.
For her ensemble, Grande wore a look from Balmain‘s spring 2024 collection. The garment, which was deconstructed and altered to cater to the singer’s individual tastes, featured white floral detailing and a flared short skirt. Grande layered sheer black tights underneath.
The cast of the film will also include Michelle Yeoh, Jonathan Bailey, Bowen Yang and Jeff Goldblum. The adaptation acts as a prequel to “The Wizard of Oz,” and recounts everything that happened before Dorothy made her way down the yellow brick road. The story focuses on the unlikely friendship that blossoms between Elphaba, who later becomes the Wicked Witch of the West, and Glinda, known as the Good Witch.
“Wicked” will be released in theaters on Nov. 27, and the second installment on Dec. 25, 2025.
