Ariana DeBose undoubtedly turned heads at the world premiere of “Kraven the Hunter” in New York City on Tuesday night.
The Oscar-winning actress made a glamorous appearance in a black mesh Dolce & Gabbana dress paired with matching sandals. She wore a black patent version of Giuseppe Zanotti‘s popular “Intriigo Strap” style featuring a sharp pointed toe, a slinky ankle strap closure, and a skinny stiletto heel. The open-toe shoes retail for $950 and come in metallic gold, white patent, and mirrored silver iterations.
Other celebrities who have worn the sleek silhouette from the leading Italian luxury footwear brand recently include Camila Cabello, Lily Collins, Vanessa Kirby, Lili Reinhart, and Jodie Turner-Smith. Kelsea Ballerini, Alix Earle, and Bella Hadid have also sported the Intriigo Strap in the past year.
As for DeBose’s bold see-through dress — which she styled over a black lace bralette — the Dolce & Gabanna design boasted a round neckline, billowy tulle sleeves, and a silk corset with an adjustable waist strap. The luxury look goes for $6,550 on harrods.com.
The “West Side Story” actress accessorized the dramatic ensemble with a coordinating black mesh headpiece that covered her eyes and dangling diamond earrings for a dazzling finish.
DeBose regularly works on her red carpet outfits with renowned celebrity stylist, Karla Welch, whose clientele list also includes Sarah Paulson, Olivia Wilde, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Justin Bieber.
DeBose recently starred in Kenneth Cole’s fall 2024 campaign promoting female empowerment. The campaign images see the singer modeling a plunging suit and full-length coat with knee-high boots and preppy loafers.
“[Fashion] is not really about the red carpet moment, it’s about the everyday,” she shared in a statement about the partnership. “I have to feel confident and empowered every moment that I walk through the world. Clothing is my armor. It matters, and if I don’t feel confident or empowered or just encouraged to be my most authentic self in them, I don’t wear them. I’m very much wearing Kenneth Cole, and that tells you, in my opinion, everything.”
