Anya Taylor-Joy Flutters at ‘The Gorge’ LA Premiere in Caped Dress and White Jimmy Choo Satin Sandals

Anya Taylor-Joy has more looks for you. Over the past few weeks, Taylor-Joy has been spotted in a flurry of looks as she started the promotion of her latest Apple TV project “The Gorge.” She has been wearing a massive Alexander McQueen coat, sometimes spotted in three looks in one day and more. Now, that project is finally here with its Los Angeles premiere.

For the premiere, Taylor-Joy and stylist Ryan Hastings opted for a minidress. The white strapless number is a custom design from Christian Dior and features a pleated cape. On the red carpet, Taylor-Joy held up the cape, which would undoubtedly flutter at just the whisper of wind. The stunner is a face of Dior and a face of Tiffany & Co., which supplied her jewelry.

For shoes, the actor went for a pair of sandals she’s quite familiar with. Taylor-Joy wore a white satin pair of Jimmy Choo Minny sandals. The Minny is an open-toe sandal. The sole features an almond-shaped front. Most of the foot is exposed as the front of the upper is basically only a singular strap. The rest of the style includes a slingback like strap as well as an additional strap that goes up the back of the foot. For security, the shoe includes an ankle strap with a small buckle.

The Minny includes a stiletto heel often sold in a three inch height. Taylor-Joy’s appear to be slightly taller.

The “Queen’s Gambit” lead has previously worn the heel. At this year’s Golden Globe awards in January she wore the shoe. That night she also chose Christian Dior, wearing a vintage dress from John Galliano’s era at the label. Before that, she was wearing the style back in 2018. When she went to the Serpentine Gallery summer party that year she wore the shoe.

Taylor-Joy is a fan of styles from Jimmy Choo but she’s also a big proponent of Christian Dior pumps and Aquazzura sandals. Her shoes often feature a stiletto heel.
