Amelia Gray Hamlin Gets Tough in Miu Miu Motorcycle Boots in New York City
Amelia Gray Hamlin is in New York City with all of the other celebrities ahead of the Met Gala on Friday. The model is anticipated to attend the event, which will mark the opening of the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute’s “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” exhibit.
She was photographed wearing a suede cropped jacket featuring a puff shoulder from Chloe. She also wore semi-sheer short shorts.
For shoes, Hamlin wore a pair of Miu Miu Antic boots. The style is almost knee-high. Shown in the fall 2024 collection, it includes both laces as well as a bucked leg shaft. The leather is distressed, so the wear appears throughout the design.
The sturdy boot sits on a thick rubber outsole and a blunt block heel of less than 1.5 inches. The boots are made in Italy. Miu Miu sells the Antic leather boot for $2,600.

This is not the only motorcycle-inspired boots from Miu Miu. The brand began the biker boot trend in 2023. There was the Harness boot that was worn by Dua Lipa in addition to other stars. There was also the Sienna boot that Emily Ratajkowski wore while walking around New York City.
Hamlin isn’t the only star to wear eye-catching boots this weekend. Elsewhere on Friday, Tracee Ellis Ross wore a pair of slouchy boots from Balmain. That red leather style included a sculpted wedge heel. The actress chose the boots to wear to the “Black Hair Reimagined: The New Era of Beauty” hair show. That event was inspired by the legacy of Bonner Bros. hair shows.
