Amal Clooney Embraces Fall Trend in Snakeskin Pumps at UN General Assembly

Amal Clooney joined the 78th General Assembly at the United Nations yesterday in New York. She met with UN’s Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and President and Chairwoman of Nadia’s Initiative Nadia Murad during the event.
Embracing the animal print trend, the Lebanese-British barrister donned a pair of snakeskin pumps. The wild footwear featured glossy animal-printed uppers in black and light gray that transitioned into almond-shaped toes and an arched lifted construction. Thick and sturdy 3 to 4-inch block heels rounded out the set in black with gold accents, offering the Human rights activist a slight boost in height.
For formal occasions, Clooney tends to gravitate towards printed or colorful pumps that offer her ensemble interest, diversifying her silhouette. As we transition into fall, it’s likely we will see more animal-printed footwear given its popularity during the colder months.

Keeping cozy, the lawyer donned a lengthy khaki-colored trench coat featuring ornate geometric wood button closures which she wore overtop a bright green maxi dress. Clooney’s dress was sleeveless and seemingly made of wool and featured a high neckline and a flared skirt that jutted out from a form-fitted bodice and midsection.
Rounding out her look, the writer sported diamond-encrusted studs and toted a large black leather bag featuring shiny gold hardware. Clooney’s lengthy dark tresses were parted to one side and styled in voluminous waves that aimed at framing her features.
Amal has grown into a fashion star to watch since she became linked with George Clooney in 2013. For her red-carpet appearances, the lawyer and activist frequently wears pointed-toe pumps from brands like Gianvito Rossi, Givenchy and Jimmy Choo. Her off-duty wardrobe is equally streamlined and chic, including Halmanera sandals and Alberta Ferretti boots. In fact, Rossi’s PVC-paneled pumps have become one of Clooney’s go-to evening styles, which she owns in multiple colorways.
