A star-studded group gathered last night, Feb. 2, for the 67th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles to celebrate achievements in the music industry.
Like previous years, the fashions on display at the awards show were a sight to behold. Unsurprisingly, luxury footwear labels could be seen on the red carpet and on stage, ranging from Taylor Swift’s Casadei sandals to Shakira’s Aquazzura sandals to Kehlani’s Jimmy Choo pumps.
Christian Louboutin, of course, was well represented, with quite a few stars donning the brand’s famous red-bottomed shoes. Below, find a roundup of Grammys attendees who showcased the French label at the event, with two of those names including Sabrina Carpenter and host Trevor Noah.
Sabrina Carpenter performed a medley of her hits while dancing on stage in a dazzling pair of crystal-adorned Mary Jane pumps, specifically a custom version of the Pumppie Wallis style. In a baby blue hue, the shoes feature an almond toe, stiletto heel and a single thin strap across the middle of the foot.
Performing on stage in a bold platform style, Cynthia Erivo went with the ballet-inspired Cassia Lace Up Alta, which retails for $1,295. The shoes feature a square toe box, a little bow affixed to the upper in front and straps wrapping around the ankle à la ballet shoes. Crafted with crepe satin, the black shoes also feature a 160 mm stiletto heel. Erivo performed alongside Herbie Hancock as part of a tribute to the late Quincy Jones.
Kelsea Ballerini went the Kate Max style in black. Part of the brand’s popular Kate line, the pump features a pointed toe and stiletto heel. Ballerini was nominated alongside Noah Kahan in the category of Best Country Duo/Group Performance for the song “Cowboys Cry Too.”
Both Peso Pluma and Trevor Noah went with Louboutin’s Greggo style. The black patent leather Oxfords feature closed-lacing, a low block heel and an almond toe. Pluma’s album “ÉXODO” was nominated for Best Música Mexicana Album (Including Tejano) while Noah hosted the Grammys for the fifth year in a row.
