Janelle Monae went all out with an impressive “E.T. the Extra Terrestrial” costume, becoming both the alien and protagonist Elliott Thomas. The intricate costume included a pair of alien feet shoes.

Jennifer Hudson paid tribute to Whitney Houston with an outfit that the late star famously wears in the hit film “The Bodyguard.” On display while she performs the song “Queen of the Night,” the ensemble includes slouchy thigh-high black boots.
Lance Bass wore a light blue flight suit when he appeared on “The Jennifer Hudson Show.” He paired the jumpsuit with aviator sunglasses and a pair of sleek black combat boots.
Lizzo got creative with an amalgamative costume she revealed on social media has been on her mind for a while: Edward SZAhands, a combination of the Johnny Depp movie character and the musician SZA. For her footwear, she channeled the famous character with edgy black platform boots with metallic adornments.
